Track Name: The Puppet's Hall, Pt. 1
i. All There Is To Know

A flicker of the light, this is all
Shadow’s dance in The Puppet’s Hall
Never turn, never look away
This is where they were meant to stay

“All there is to know of this world
We see it in the shapes passing by
All there is to know of this world
Doesn’t come from asking why”

Satisfied not to understand
Why they’re here, why they’ve bound their hands
Name the shapes, call them what you will
It won’t change that you’re trapped here still

“All there is to know of this world
We see it in the shapes passing by
All there is to know of this world
Doesn’t come from asking why”

ii. The Shadow’s Dance

(Instrumental)
Track Name: Free?
iii. The Unchaining

Suddenly I feel like something’s slightly strange
I no longer feel those familiar chains
I begin to wonder what this should mean to me
Then comes the voice in my ear: “You’re free”

I protest to him that I was never bound
Still he beckons me to stand and look around
Yet I can see the shapes and call them all by name
Then he laughs and says, “You think there’s truth in that game?

But I know the way
To leave The Cave
I can show you the way
Your soul to save
‘Cause freedom only comes once you leave this place
So you can find your way
And you can leave The Cave”

I try to shut him out and let him keep these claims
But it makes no difference, and to him it’s just the same
He smiles and says, “It’s time to leave this world behind”
No second chance for me to speak my mind

“Come,” he says to me
“Come and you’ll be free”
“Come and see the truth you’ve never known”

But I don’t understand
What could be wrong?
Still he leads me on and on and on and on and on

iv Ascending

-A-

(Instrumental)

-B-

What is this shape
That burns my eyes?
Is this his truth?
This means nothing to me

Still, there’s more, he says
As he leads me further on

-C-

(Instrumental)
Track Name: A World Beyond
v. With Unbound Hands

A blinding world
Beyond my shielded eyes
Can’t seem to see
What’s true and what’s a lie

The silence broke
And something changed inside
I see the shapes
But there’s something more they hide

With unbound hands
I venture further
I need to know
What truth is found there

Then far above:
A shape so full of light

vi. The Light’s Dance

It’s all so beautiful
It’s all so clear
Such brilliant light
Such perfect truth
It’s all clear as day
Track Name: The Ones I Left Behind
vii. The Decision

For too long
I lived in darkness
My truth was only shadows on the wall

I rose to find the light of day
What waits not far above
If I had only thought to look beyond

And if I could arise from a world of lies
Could I save the ones that I left behind
In the shadows of a better world?

As the smoke was cleared, I forgot my fears
And I found myself drawn ever near
To a truth beyond the lies I once held dear

For a moment
Did I raise my eyes?
Did I wonder why?
Or was I really sure it all was fine?

And though I dread to see that place again
Can I let them all
Stay lost within the lies, the Puppet’s Hall?

And if I could arise from a world of lies
Could I save the ones that I left behind
In the shadows of a better world?

As the smoke was cleared, I forgot my fears
And I found myself drawn ever near
To a truth beyond the lies I once held dear

So could I save them?
My brothers
I’ll set you free

viii. The Return

(Instrumental)
Track Name: The Puppet's Hall, Pt. 2
ix. The Beckoning

There’s a higher truth than what you’ve known
There’s another world beyond The Cave
There’s a way to rise above the stone
There’s a chance for your souls to be saved

And you can find your way
Out of The Cave

There’s a better life not far above
There’s a truth we cannot comprehend
There’s a place that you will come to love
There’s a sense of knowing in the end

And you can find your way
Out of The Cave

x. The Realization/“Puppet’s Hall Pt. 1” Reprise

-A-

(Instrumental)

-B-

That’s when I realize my eyes cannot see in this pale light
How can I play their games when I know there’s so much more?

There’s so much more

“All there is to know of this world
We see it in the shapes passing by
All there is to know of this world
Doesn’t come from asking why”

xi. The Judgement/“Free?” Reprise

“There’s a higher truth you claim to know
There’s another world that’s left you blind
You call it light but fail to show
That it’s more than poison in your mind

You leave us no choice but to make you pay
The price for your lies”

But I know the way
To leave The Cave
I can show you the way
Your soul to save
‘Cause freedom only comes once you leave this place
Please
You’re living a lie

xii. The Noble Sacrifice

Blind, they could never look away
For their ignorance, this is the price you pay
The way of light in the Puppet’s Hall
Is only flickerings on the wall
And now you become as the shadows are

And so, those who have ascended to the light of higher truth must make the noble sacrifice: to return again to The Cave, and, even in the face of death, beckon those prisoners to undo their chains. Only then may this story someday have a different ending, and may we someday leave the passing shapes as they are:

A flicker of the light, this is all
The shadow’s dance in the Puppet’s Hall
Track Name: To Silence
Silent social stigma stands
Belief through bated breath
Tiny words and fractured hands
Were never any less

A subtle change inside us all
Black light that lights the way
And doubly I’d hear the call
As she would say

The world is not dying
All is all

From splinters breaking free
To silence holding me
Believe me, if I could
I’d look you in the eyes

What once was not the same
Still tried to play their games
And now it holds me back
Much deeper than before

If this would ever really change
And time’s the only test
Underneath it’s all the same
Pretend that it’s the best

The mind is not dying
All is all

From splinters breaking free
To silence holding me
Believe me, if I could
I’d look you in the eyes

What once was not the same
Still tried to play their games
And now it holds me back
Much deeper than before

And when a voice inside my doubt says
It’s all right to feel alone sometimes
To let it all be known
Sometimes you fall

I try to connect to myself again
But it seems I’ve lost the way
So I’ll move quietly
To get to where I’ve got to be
I fall
I fall

From splinters breaking free
To silence holding me
Believe me, if I could
I’d look you in the eyes

What once was not the same
Still tried to play their games
And it still holds me back
As my words slowly fade
To silence
Track Name: While It Lasts
At the surface
Where the clouds break
Where the winds don’t blow

It’s all perfect
It’s everything we have ever known

In the open
Where the sun bakes
Where the truth roams free

There’s a child
Who is hoping
That someone still believes

Don’t move too fast
Breathe in deep while it lasts

Don’t let it pass
Feel the moment while it lasts

At a time when
I was drifting through the open book

There you found me
Slowly lifting in the words from us they took

They were:

Don’t move too fast
Breathe in deep while it lasts

Don’t let it pass
Feel the moment while it lasts

So they told us to wait for something
But tomorrow never came
That fulfillment that we ordered was so surely coming
But it seems it lost its way
We had to find our own reason to stay

At the end of that which once was
Just the everyday

You’ll know that the world keeps turning
And the memories remain

Don’t move too fast
Breathe in deep while it lasts

Don’t let it pass
Feel the moment while it lasts

Can you teach me how to breathe here while it lasts?
Track Name: This Time
There’s a sign on the wall
Did I already take my fall?

There’s a passion still moved
But is there something else I lose?

‘Cause the sun seems just a little colder somehow
And those dreams feel a little bit different now

So this time
Maybe I’ll find myself alone
Lost in another world not quite my own
And this time
Maybe I could set my true self free
If I only knew what I was meant to be

There’s a dream I’m still dreaming
Yet still not yet the life I’m living

‘Cause the sun seems just a little colder somehow
And those dreams feel a little bit different now

So this time
Maybe I’ll find myself alone
Lost in another world not quite my own
And this time
Maybe I could set my true self free
If I only knew what I was meant to be
This time
Maybe I’ll fall out of the sky in the end
This time

Look away in the fear that you hold now
You can stay in the pride that has come down
For a time
It’s all your mind
So just wait again to seize the day
Look away from the calling
Don’t acknowledge the fact that you’re falling
And as such
It isn’t much
Only your life

If I only knew what I was meant to be
