There's a higher truth than what you've known
There's another world beyond The Cave
There's a way to rise above the stone
There's a chance for your souls to be saved
And you can find your way
Out of The Cave
There's a better life not far above
There's a truth you can't yet comprehend
There's a place that you will come to love
There's a sense of knowing in the end
And you can find your way
Out of The Cave

That's when I realize my eyes cannot see in this pale light
How can I play their games when I know there's so much more?
"All there is to know of this world
We see it in the shapes passing by
All there is to know of this world
Doesn't come from asking why"
-iv-
"There's a higher truth you claim to know
There's another world that's left you blind
You call it light but fail to show
that it's more than poison in your mind
You leave us no choice but to make you pay
the price for your lies"
But I know the way to leave The Cave
I can show you the way, your soul to save
Freedom only comes once you leave this place
Please
You're living a lie
"There's a higher truth you claim to know
There's another world that's left you blind
You call it light but fail to show
that it's more than poison in your mind
You leave us no choice but to make you pay
the price for your lies"
But I know the way to leave The Cave
I can show you the way, your soul to save
Freedom only comes once you leave this place
Please
You're living a lie

Blind, they could never look away
For the ignorance, this is the price you pay
The way of light in The Puppet's Hall
is only flickerings on the wall
And now you become as the shadows are

And so, those who have ascended to the light of higher truth must make the noble sacrifice: to return again to The Cave and, even in the face of death, beckon those prisoners to undo their chains. Only then may this story someday have a different ending, and may we someday leave the passing shapes as they are:
A flicker of the light, this is all
The shadow's dance in The Puppet's Hall
